TECHNICAL INFORMATION

BEST-MK 4231 is a one component, solvent free, anaerobic curing adhesive based on Dimethacrylate ester. The viscosity is medium.

BEST-MK 4231 is especially suitable for the bonding of cylindrical fitting parts, particularly where disassembly is required for service operations. The product cures when confined in the absence of air between close fitting metal surfaces and prevents loosening of screw connections and leakage from shock and vibration. Typical applications include retention of bearings onto shafts and into housings.

BEST-MK 4231 combines medium strength with good temperature and chemical resistance. Disassembly is possible with special tools without causing damage to the thread. The medium viscosity allows a good distribution and capillary action on the adherents.
